Peter Fisher (aka The BassMan), structural engineer by profession, but a bassist and jazz lover at heart for over 40 years, created the radio shows “Jazz and Conversations” and “Out of Afrika”, after a most chance encounter with Ken Addy, on his radio show, Jazz on Joy FM, in Accra, Ghana, in the summer of 2016.

Jazz and Conversations is 2 hours of the best of Jazz by African musicians on the continent and in the diaspora, with occasional tributes to jazz artists from other parts of the globe, and airs “live” on Saturday nights from 9pm – 11pm WAT on LagosTalks 91.3FM.
